A fascinating tour that will introduce you to the history of Stirling, with its famous Castle and the natural beauty of the Loch Lomond National Park. We start our tour with a drive to the medieval city of Stirling. Here there is an opportunity to visit Stirling Castle. The castle overlooks the ancient city of Stirling and is one of the historic buildings that have come to symbolise the spirit of Scotland. Our extended stop in Stirling will allow a leisurely visit to the Castle or the chance to explore the town itself. The Trossachs is a wonderful area of lochs and wild mountain vistas. We travel by Loch Venachar then climb the dramatic Dukes Pass to the pretty village of Aberfoyle. The Queen of Scotland’s lakes-Loch Lomond- is the largest stretch of inland water in Britain and we’ll make a stop here. There will also be time for you to take a stroll along the “bonnie, bonnie banks”. Our last stop of the day is to pretty Glengoyne Malt Whisky Distillery. As well as having a behind the scenes tour to learn all about the distillers art there will be a chance to taste the end product too!

The Legend of the Grail has spawned many tales throughout the last 800 years.Scotland is reputed to be the resting place of the Grail and a safe haven of the Knights Templar.Our tour explores Templar and Grail connections within Scotland.We start our journey of discovery with a drive across the Forth Road Bridge into the Kingdom of Fife.Historic Dunfermline is the site of a great Benedictine abbey 11th Century.The famous Scottish hero, Robert the Bruce, is buried in the choir of the abbey and we will discover more about his important role in Scotland's history.We will travel westwards, following the River Forth, towards Stirling.Mighty Stirling Castle is set high on a volcanic plug over-looking the city of Stirling.The views from the castle ramparts are quite stunning. Passing the battlefield of Bannockburn we'll head back towards Edinburgh and the Pentland hills. At the foot of the hills is Rosslyn Chapel, the reputed resting place of the legend that is the Holy Grail, made famous by Dan Brown's book The Da Vinci Code.This is the templar holy of holies and you'll have the chance to bask in its mystery and explore the chapel for yourself.

St Andrews is famed throughout the World as being the home of Golf, however there is much more to explore in this delightful town, as we will discover on this enjoyable excursion.Departing from Edinburgh we will soon be crossing the Firth of Forth by the graceful Forth Road Bridge and journey into the Kingdom of Fife. There is a stop in the delightful village of Falkland where we will step back in time when we visit this traditional Scottish village and explore Falkland Palace, the country residence of the Stuart Kings and Queens.The gardens contain the Royal Tennis Court which dates from 1539 and are the oldest in Britain! You can explore the many attractions from the ruins of the 13th Century castle to Scotland’s oldest university. Also you can visit the British Golf Museum.The remainder of the afternoon will be spent discovering the picturesque fishing villages of the East Neuk of Fife as we meander our way back to Edinburgh.

This is the definitive Highland experience that will introduce you to the very best of the Highlands in just one day. This really is Essential Scotland! We travel to Fort William, which sits in the shadow of Ben Nevis - Britain's tallest mountain. A real highlight is our drive through the Great Glen which is also the route taken by the Caledonian Canal. The Great Glen contains three lochs. Firstly Loch Lochy, then Loch Oich and lastly Loch Ness.The pretty little village of Fort Augustus is our gateway to Scotland's largest and most famous loch. We will tour the entire length of Loch Ness. Here you can visit the Castle and enjoy a cruise on the loch - could that shadow be the monster? Shortly we will arrive in Inverness. We will make a further stop so that you can discover the Capital of the Highlands for yourself. Later we will start our journey southwards through the Spey Valley then on to the dramatic scenery of Glen Garry. Our journey takes us northwards through the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.We make our way through Rob Roy country towards the little village of Tyndrum. Next we travel through Glen Lochy to romantic Kilchurn Castle, which stands guard at the head of Loch Awe.Oban is a picturesque fishing port set on the Firth of Lorn.Discover this bustling town and enjoy the views towards the Island of Kerrera and the Inner Hebrides beyond. The 3rd Duke of Argyll built Inveraray between 1746 and 1780 at the head of Loch Fyne. The town sits in the shadow of his castle and this pleasant town retains much of its 18th Century charm. Our journey continues by way of Loch Long then over the dramatic mountain pass to the gentle scenery of Loch Lomond. Our enjoyable drive will afford wonderful views of Loch Lomond before we make our way to Glasgow and then Edinburgh.
